In February 2009 Zephyr hosted our Welcome Back dinner at Vista. There was alot
of anticipation in the lead up to this event, and it was a great time for all to
catch up and exchange news and events over the festive season.

Whilst Santa Claus normally takes centre stage our kids found an eel in the river
mud much more exciting, however once the big red fella arrived with presents and
lollies the eel was soon forgotten.

In November 2008 we had our special fifth year end of year we chartered a plane
for our team and flew everyone to Millbrook for a weekend of fun, sun, adventure
and not to mention superb food and wine. It was a weekend everyone will remember
for years to come.

Zephyr hosted a client Christmas function at our premises. We were privileged to
have Wellington mayor Kerry Prendergast speak passionately about Wellington. The
night was a fabulous success and everyone had an outstanding time.

Teams became more competitive this year and tried before hand to study wine (or
this was there excuse!), however there was a very clear winner our clients went
home very happy with there prizes.

The kids were treated to lunch and the movie ‘Wall-E’ which was very well received
by most of the kids, no matter what age category they fell in to.

In April 2008 Zephyr treated everyone out for a night of dinner and laughter there
were jokes that suited everyone’s taste and by the end of the evening most people’s
ribs were saw from laughter.

Our annual race day saw the team and invited clients treated to a day of sun, bubbles
and not to mention the stunning hats worn by the ladies. There was the normal share
of some winners and some losers, however nobody minded as everyone had fun.

There is always excitement at our kids Christmas party for the arrival of Santa
Claus – this year was no different all the kids even managed to be brave and sit
on Santa’s knee. By the end of the there were some kids who couldn’t keep awake
any longer and were asleep before the car left the park.

In December 2007 Zephyr once again treated everyone away for a weekend in Turangi,
some adventurous team members even sampled while watered rafting while others enjoyed
a leisurely round of golf. The environment was superb and everyone had so much fun.

In September 2007 Zephyr began a new tradition, a yearly event of a wine options
evening. The team at Zephyr and invited clients were pitted against each other to
taste, assess and guess the questions about different New Zealand Wines. A great
time was had by all, and everyone certainly enjoyed sampling the variety of wines.

In May 2007 Zephyr donned their Pirate outfits and made their way in to Wellington
for a nightful of fun, food and finishing with the main event - watching Pirates
of The Caribbean, in the gold lounge at Reading Cinemas.

In December 2006, Zephyr treated everyone to a weekend away in Taupo. It was a great
weekend with lots of laughs and good times.

In March 2007. Zephyr hosted it's annual 'day at the races' where the racing club
was hosting the Girls Day out featuring the New Zealand Oak's race.

In April 2007, Zephyr held it's traditional kids day out. This year we headed off
to the Zoo for a fun filled animal day, we started off with a feast fit for all.
This was followed up by a guided tour around the Zoo ending up with the kids feeding
the giraffes. The Kids loved the animals and the adults enjoyed a long overdue visit
to the Zoo.

In July 2006, the Zephyr Team and a few invited guests ventured to the theatre for
a bit of culture. Before heading to St James for a fantastic performance of STOMP,
we enjoyed a delicious meal at Zibibbo’s, ending the evening with drinks and sweet
treats at the Jimmy.

In June 2006, Zephyr headed out with staff and kids for a kids afternoon. Everyone
had a great meal and then afterwards we all enjoyed watching the movie ‘Over the
Hedge’

In May 2006, Zephyr went to La Bella Italia to learn how to cook a traditional Italian
meal. It was a great night with lots of laughs and fabulous Italian food.

In March 2006, Zephyr embarked on a ‘day at the races’ where the racing club was
celebrating the New Zealand Oaks with a ‘Girls Day Out’ promotion. It was a great
day with plenty of champagne, sunshine and boater hats.

In October 2005 Zephyr hosted Clients and Staff to an evening to open the Zephyr
Offices. Tony Lester of Land Information New Zealand provided a Client’s perspective
while the Zephyr Management Team all had a turn at the rostrum. Entertainment was
also provided by the irrepressible Tom Scott.
