Pedro De Souza

Pedro is a Systems Engineer at Zephyr with a background in cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 administration, and enterprise IT service delivery. He joined Zephyr in 2026, bringing three years of experience from NEC New Zealand, where he worked his way up from Service Desk Analyst to Cloud Engineer. Along the way, he got well acquainted with Palo Alto firewalls, Hyper-V virtualisation, ISO 27001 compliance, and supporting enterprise clients across APAC, Australia, and the US.

Pedro is a firm believer that good IT support is really just good communication with some technical know-how behind it. He's equally comfortable digging into a complex multi-tenant Microsoft 365 environment as he is helping a frustrated user get back on their feet, and his ITIL background means things get logged, tracked, and resolved the right way. His calm, customer-first approach has grown from earlier life as a personal trainer in Brazil, where discipline and a people-first approach still come in handy today.

Originally from Brazil, Pedro has well and truly made Wellington his home. When he's not at a keyboard for work, he's probably at one for fun; he's a keen PC hardware enthusiast and gamer who's always chasing the next upgrade.
